Power transmission lines traverse mountains and valleys, facing threats everywhere, such as forest fires. Once a forest fire breaks out, it can cause a power line trip and grid paralysis at best, and a large-scale forest fire with incalculable ecological disasters at worst.

Guangxi Hai Zhuo Technology has launched the HIZ-SD-FSH overhead line forest fire online monitoring device. This is not just a camera, but a set of intelligent fire prevention guards specifically designed for power transmission line scenarios, giving high-voltage lines the "thousand-mile eyes" to perceive risks and the "alarm" to warn of disasters.
The HIZ-SD-FSH forest fire online monitoring device is a front-end monitoring device integrating high-definition imaging, thermal imaging detection, intelligent analysis, and wireless communication, adopting "visible light + thermal imaging" dual-spectrum technology. During the day, the high-definition visible light lens captures the details of smoke and open flames; at night or in foggy weather, the thermal imaging lens penetrates the darkness and accurately captures high-temperature heat sources, completely solving the problem of blind spots at night. Secondly, it supports remote control of the pan-tilt, achieving 360° horizontal rotation and large-angle vertical tilt. A single device can cover the line channel and the surrounding forest area for several kilometers, truly achieving "a view of all the mountains".
The device can set a temperature warning line for the area and issue gradient warnings (warning → alarm) for abnormal temperature rises. It can detect potential hazards in the smoke stage. Once a fire is confirmed, the device immediately triggers the local sound and light alarm to deter nearby people. At the same time, it sends alarm pictures, videos, and GPS coordinates to the mobile App of operation and maintenance personnel and the command center's large screen through 4G/5G wireless networks, recording the video stream before, during, and after the fire, providing solid evidence for accident investigation and responsibility determination.
Considering that power transmission lines are mostly in remote mountainous areas, the overhead line forest fire online monitoring device adheres to the concept of "no construction, quick deployment". It can be directly fixed on the crossarm of the iron tower or the tower body bracket without the need for additional poles, with strong stability and the best field of view. It can also be fixed on existing poles without damage by using custom metal clamps, and can be installed by a single person without damaging the original structure. For hazard points without poles, a solar pole solution can be adopted and flexibly deployed in high-risk areas such as forest entrances and cemeteries.
